Suspect charged in flight from police with stolen vehicle incident in Three Hills

Charges have now been laid against a suspect who allegedly fled police in a stolen vehicle in Three Hills this spring.

On May 6, 2025, at 11:05 p.m., Three Hills RCMP attempted to stop a stolen Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the Get N’ Go gas station in Three Hills.

Mounties say the vehicle fled from police and drove towards Big Valley. The male suspect was seen on CCTV from the gas station. RCMP was seeking assistance in identifying the suspect.

A 61-year-old resident of Rocky View County, was identified with assistance from the public. He has been charged with:

• Failure to comply with release order
• Flight from police
• Possession of property obtained by crime
