Free open house gives peek behind Central Alberta Theatre’s curtain
Central Alberta Theatre is offering a free look behind the scenes at an upcoming open house.
The event, aptly named ‘Step Behind the Curtain’ and part of Alberta Culture Days, runs Sept. 20 from 4-7 p.m. at the Memorial Centre.
Attendees can meet the people behind CAT, and get a sneak peek at the 2025/26 season, not to mention maybe fall in love with theatre.
“Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on activities: guests can contribute to a collaborative art piece for Frankenstein, children can dress up in costumes, and anyone curious can try their hand at running lights and sound in the Studio Theatre, and more,” CAT says in a release.
