Friends of the Red Deer Public Library — The Friends of the Red Deer Public Library (Downtown Branch) are pleased to present the Polka Dot Dixies at the annual Outdoor Concert on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 12:15-1 p.m. in the City Gardens on the west side of City Hall.

If you are able, bring a lawn chair.

If there is inclement weather, the concert will be performed in the Snell Auditorium.

If you are unable to attend the concert in person, the concert will be streamed live on our YouTube channel and at rdpl.org/first-thursday.

Donations

Thanks to those who have made donations in support of the First Thursday concerts. These funds have been used to pay fees and expenses for the musicians presenting at the Library. If anyone wishes to support these concerts, cheques should be made out to the Red Deer Public Library, with a memo for CONCERTS. A charitable receipt will be issued.
