Red Deer Arts Council and Red Deer Public Library are pleased to present, Hang Ups and Insights: The 17th Annual IB and AP Art Show with Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School and Hunting Hills High School running from May 20 to June 23, 2025, in the Kiwanis Public Art Gallery.

Featuring the artwork of the 2025 graduating students of the Advanced Placement and the International Baccalaureate Art Programs, this exhibition showcases the new artistic discoveries of these young artists. Understand how they are considering the world and their experience through this show. From paintings to ceramics, to prints and drawings and beyond, our next generation of young artists is ready to show their creations. Explore their work with them.

See what inspires these student artists as they develop their artistic perspective through their interactions with their culture and environment. Explore their work and try to imagine where their art will take them in the future.

First Friday Red Deer Opening: June 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with students and instructors; everyone is welcome to attend and help us celebrate these fine young artists!
