Lacombe to make improvements to 49B Avenue

Work is to be done on improving the look, accessibility and safety of Lacombe’s 49B Avenue, located in the city’s downtown.

Enhancements are part of the bi-annual sidewalk improvement program, and will include enhancements to benches, garbage cans, and green spaces.

“Council is always looking for ways to improve our pedestrian spaces while ensuring residents can continue to access our downtown in whatever way they choose,” Mayor Grant Creasey said. “These improvements add safety, accessibility, and ensures residents and guests alike will continue to enjoy the look and feel of our downtown.”
