Sylvan Lake taking nominations for Citizen of the Year awards

The Town of Sylvan Lake has opened nominations for its Citizen of the Year awards, which acknowledge significant accomplishments that enhance community spirit and positively impact the town.

Nominations are open from Feb. 3 until noon on March 11.

Award categories include:

  • Citizenship
  • Music, Art, Culture, and Heritage
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Sports Involvement
  • Youth Award of Excellence
  • Long Time Service Volunteer
  • Mayor’s Distinguished Award
