Residents invited to West Park community Winterfest

If you’re looking for a mid-winter pick up, look no further than Winterfest 2025, a free event taking place at the West Park Activity Centre (3811 57 Avenue) on Jan. 18.

At 10 a.m. there will be a pancake breakfast, available until supplies run out.

At 1 p.m., there will be outdoor activities like face painting, s’more and marshmallow roasting (while supplies last), games, and horse-drawn carriage rides.

The carriage rides will be provided by Heritage Ranch, taking off from 39 Street by the hall.

All outdoor activities will run until 4 p.m.; there is also a bottle drive taking place throughout the day, supporting the West Park Community Association and its redevelopment project. Bottles can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
