Holly Jolly Public Skate at the Ponoka Arena Complex

The holiday season is here and it’s time to celebrate with some festive skating fun at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street).

Residents are encouraged to gather on Sunday, Dec. 22, for a Holly Jolly Public Skate, described as a cheerful event for all ages.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.

Admission is:

• Ages 1 to 5 $1.50

• Ages 6 and up: $2

• Or bring a food bank donation for each skater for free admission.

You can bring the whole family, lace up your skates, and embrace the holiday cheer with some hot chocolate and ice skating. It’s the perfect way to kick off your Christmas celebrations. Don’t forget to wear your warmest winter attire for extra comfort on the ice. Town officials look forward to sharing the holiday magic with you at the Ponoka Arena Complex.
