The Lethbridge Hurricanes have signed 2008-born forward Easton Daneault to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Daneault, a native of Red Deer, was drafted by the Hurricanes in the seventh round of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft. He currently plays for the AJHL’s Drumheller Dragons, where he sits third in team scoring with nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in 25 games.
His 22 points put him fourth in rookie scoring for the entire league, and he also ranks first in all offensive categories among 16-year-old players in the AJHL.
Daneault is committed to the NCAA’s Merrimack College for the 2026-2027 season.
