Red Deer RCMP arrest 41-year-old man for suspected impaired driving

Red Deer RCMP arrested a 41-year-old man last week following an alleged impaired driving incident in the city’s south end.

Mounties say the driver drove across lawns and into multiple parked vehicles in the Laredo neighbourhood.

On Nov. 13, 2024, at 9:40 p.m., police located and arrested the man suspected to be impaired.

Mounties say the Red Deer resident was charged with operate conveyance while persons ability to operate is impaired by a drug.

RCMP says the suspect is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 6, 2025 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.
