Christmas market promises to be merry and bright

If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit and cross a few people off your list, head to the Merry & Bright Market in Red Deer Polytechnic’s Cenovus Learning Common on November 30.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be local vendors selling goods, activities like balloon twisting, photography, and cookie decorating, and a colouring contest.
There will also be a dedicated kids’ corner and a child-oriented solo shopping section, where they can pick out gifts for parents.
Although you will likely see him making his rounds during the market, there’s no need to be a holiday Grinch thanks to free admission and free parking; however, donations to the Central Alberta Humane Society will be accepted.
