Red Deer District Chamber announces 2024 Business of the Year Award winners

The Red Deer District Chamber announced and honoured six 2024 Business of the Year Award winners in a ceremony at the Red Deer Polytechnic Arts Centre on October 24.

The winners are:

• Small Business of the Year: The Hot Tub Man
• Business of the Year: 360 Fitness
• New Business of the Year: Diony Distillery
• Not-for-Profit category: Red Deer Food Bank
• Emerging Business of the Year: RT Heating & Air Conditioning
• Business Leader of the Year: Patricia Arango of the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre

This year, there were 18 finalists selected from more than 100 nominees.

Businesses are nominated by the public and then interviewed by Chamber volunteers to develop material for an adjudication committee. The committee then evaluates and determines the finalists and the winners, although the winning business names are sealed away until the awards night.
