Alberta Youth Choir to showcase provincial program in Lacombe

The Alberta Youth Choir, an honour choir for singers ages 16-22, invites residents to a performance in Lacombe as part of its 2024 provincial tour.
On Oct. 26 at 7:30, the choir will present its “Seeking Light” program at St. Andrew’s United Church with direction from conductor Jamie Hillman.
The Alberta Youth Choir selects its singers annually through a competitive audition process. The provincial tour offers these singers an opportunity to share their passion for choral music with communities across Alberta.
“We are thrilled to bring this passionate group of young musicians to Lacombe,” says Dr. Brendan Lord, the executive director of Choir Alberta. “The Alberta Youth Choir performances truly are a unique experience that reflects the energy, skill, and creativity of Alberta’s choral community.”
