RDCRS students to focus on serving others as they return to school next week
Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools students and staff will be returning to the classroom next week to start a fun and fulfilling school year.
This year, officials say Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools will be celebrating the final year of a three-year faith theme, “Inspired by Christ on a journey to encounter, nurture, and serve.”
Over the coming months, officials say school communities will highlight the importance of living out our faith by serving and helping others, especially those most vulnerable and in need. Jesus’ approach to teaching was marked by a deep engagement with people’s everyday lives and favoring those who most need it.
A number of schools within the division are proceeding with staggered entry on Tuesday, Sept. 3 and Wednesday, Sep. 4 to ensure students receive additional personalized attention from their teacher as they return to the classroom, say officials.
