Stay of proceedings for two of three charged in central Alberta shooting
There has been a stay of proceedings for two of three people charged in a central Alberta shooting last month.
Trey Littlechild, 25, and Alyssa Soosay, 29, both of the Samson Cree Nation, saw their matters stayed in Wetaskiwin Court of Justice on July 23, 2024.
According to the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS), it was determined there was no reasonable likelihood of conviction so the charges against both accused were stayed.
The third suspect, Dorian O’Shea Hunter, 23, of Maskwacis, currently has a warrant out for his arrest.
