The Red Deer Kinsmen made one person $400,000 richer this past weekend with the final draw of the 2024 Lucky Bucks Lottery.

Linda Zouboules won the grand prize following a reverse draw that included 20 finalists.

The first five drawn won $1,000 each, the next five won $2,500, the next five won, $5,000, the next four won $10,000, and finally Zouboules with the $400,000.

A 50/50 winner, Yvonne Dubois, also walked away with over $106,000.

Money raised for the Kinsmen through the Lucky Bucks Lottery stays in central Alberta and benefits community projects such as playgrounds, as well as local non-profits.

The Lucky Bucks Lottery replaced the dream home lottery the Kinsmen have done in past years.
