Retired school board trustee honoured with Legacy Award

The Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta (PBSAA) has awarded retired trustee and public education supporter Dr. Bill Stuebing with the Dick Baker Legacy Award.

The PBSAA held its Special Recognition Awards during its Spring General Assembly at the Westin in Downtown Calgary on June 1, 2024, where six awards were distributed.

“I feel both honoured and humbled to receive such an award,” said Stuebing. “I thank the Association most sincerely for making me a recipient in memory of such a good man. I can only hope that all of us can continue to follow Dick’s legacy.”

Stuebing received the award for his unwavering display of integrity, compassion, respect, mentorship, and leadership, the organization said.
