Innisfail RCMP vehicle rammed by fleeing suspect

Innisfail RCMP are searching for a suspect after they rammed an RCMP vehicle and fled the scene.
On June 5, Innisfail RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious truck at the Ghost Pine store in Pine Lake. Witnesses suspected the occupants of the vehicle were using drugs.
The responding officer initiated a traffic stop. When the officer got close to the vehicle, the suspect reversed at a high rate of speed, almost hitting the officer, and striking the RCMP vehicle, causing significant damage.
The suspect then fled the scene and has not been found since. While RCMP continue their investigation, they asks for any public assistance available in locating the truck or identifying the driver.
