City hosting electronics and household hazardous waste recycling event

If you have any hazardous waste or electronics that you need to get rid of, there is an event in Lethbridge for you this weekend.
On Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the City hosts a recycling roundup. It will take place in the northwest parking lot at the Park Place Shopping Centre.
The roundup will accept the follow:
- Any items that display the hazard symbols (corrosive, flammable, reactive/explosive, toxic/poison), including but not limited to:
- Pesticide/herbicide
- Cleaning products
- Automotive cleaning and maintenance products
- Aerosol containers
- Paint, solvent stain and related items
- Used oil
- Batteries
- Electronics (battery powered and anything with a cord)
