Record low temperatures set during current cold snap
Meteorologists with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) have revealed numerous record low temperatures that have been set over the past several days, with many in central Alberta.
Among those, include Red Deer, Stettler, Three Hills, Rocky Mountain House, Nordegg, Sundre, and Breton.
Officials say a blast of cold arctic air brought very low overnight temperatures to Alberta beginning on Thursday.
