Olds RCMP investigate fatal motor vehicle collision and seek witnesses

Mounties in Olds are hoping potential witnesses to a fatal collision in the community over the weekend can help them with their investigation.

On Sept. 30, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Olds RCMP responded to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the No Frills parking lot.

Mounties say the pedestrian, a 68-year-old female resident of Olds, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Police offer their condolences to her family and friends.

Prior to RCMP arriving, Mounties say there were four bystanders who assisted the female. However, they left the scene before RCMP arrived.
