Minister Dreeshen exploring new economic corridors across North America
Transportation and Economic Corridors Minister Devin Dreeshen will travel to Washington, D.C., New Hampshire and Toronto to promote the importance of expanding economic corridors in North America.
Officials with the Alberta government say Minister Dreeshen will travel from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 to meet with elected government officials and discuss expanding cross-border economic corridors.
“The seamless movement of goods and services within Canada and through the United States is vital for economic growth and the movement of agricultural, forestry and energy products on both sides of the border. To achieve our goals, we must take a nation-building approach to economic corridors, looking beyond Alberta’s borders to opportunities across the province, the country and the continent,” says Devin Dreeshen, Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors.
The government says Minister Dreeshen will travel with one government staff member. Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
