Fatal collision east of Didsbury involving motorcycle and holiday trailer

RCMP responded to the scene of a fatal collision near Didsbury on Saturday.

The collision, between a motorcycle and holiday trailer, occurred at about 12 p.m. on July 22 on Highway 582, about 30 km east of town.

According to RCMP, “A male driver of the motorcycle has been pronounced deceased and a youth passenger has been transported to area hospital by STARS. Highway 582 between Range Road 271 and Range Road 272 is currently being diverted as RCMP investigate the crash. Motorists should expect delays and follow established detour until the scene is cleared.”
