Red Deer RCMP investigate stolen vehicles allegedly linked to firearm offences

Local Mounties are asking residents to be on the lookout for a pair of stolen vehicles believed to be involved in recent firearms offences.

On June 15, 2023, Red Deer RCMP say they received a report of a break and enter to a residence where suspects stole two vehicles. Since then, RCMP have received reports of firearms offences where both stolen vehicles were allegedly involved.

While RCMP investigate, police say they are providing descriptions of both vehicles in hopes that members of the public are made aware of the dangers associated as well as report to RCMP if the vehicles are seen.

Vehicle 1 is described as:

  • 2017 Audi Q5
  • White
  • bearing Alberta licence plate number BMT-6463

Vehicle 2 is described as:

  • 2014 Chevrolet Cruze
  • Red
  • bearing Alberta licence plate CBJ 1082

Mounties urge that If you see these vehicles Do not approach or follow call 911 or your local police.
