Free transit rides in Red Deer June 7

City of Red Deer Transit has announced free transit for all on June 7, 2023 to coincide with National Clean Air Day.

City officials say residents and visitors are encouraged to take free public transit to and from their destination on Wednesday, June 7 as a simple step towards fighting climate change in our community.

The City says vehicle emissions contribute to climate change and good air quality is important for everyone’s health, as well as the environment. By choosing to take public transit, officials say riders are helping to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
