City of Lacombe sends out 2023 property tax notices

The City of Lacombe says municipal property tax notices for the 2023 taxation year were mailed out on Friday.

City officials say if residents have not received their 2023 Tax Notice by June 6, 2023, they should contact the Tax and Assessment Department at 403-782-1257.

Property owners are being advised that taxes are due and payable without penalty if payment is received at City Hall (5432 56 Ave) on or before June 30, 2023.

Payments can be dropped off after business hours in the mail slot at City Hall. They City says property tax payments submitted by mail will be deemed to be paid on the same date as the postmark on the envelope in which the payment was mailed. They note that credit card payments are not accepted for property taxes.
