Info sought after crash with dirt bike near Innisfail on May 1 or 2

RCMP are seeking information about a crash which occurred in early May about 13 km northeast of Innisfail.

It was about 7:50 a.m. on May 2 when RCMP and Innisfail Fire Department responded to what appeared to be a single-vehicle collision involving a dirt bike in a ditch.

The crash occurred at Range Road 274 (AB-791) and Township Road 362.

The male youth who was on the dirt bike suffered significant injuries and was taken to hospital where he is still recovering and receiving treatment.

Since May 2, additional information has been received which police say indicates there may have been a passenger vehicle involved in the collision as well. The crash may have also occurred the night before, around 9:30 p.m. on May 1.

RCMP are looking to speak to anyone that was in the area of the collision at that time or that may have any residential or vehicle video of that location.
