RDP student-athletes to compete at Canadian College Finals Rodeo in Brooks

The Canadian College Finals Rodeo (CCFR) takes place over May Long Weekend in Brooks, Alberta, and two of RDP’s top student-athletes are competing.

Officials with RDP Athletics say Makayla Willows and Cayden Nickle have had phenomenal performances this year and are looking forward to competing at this level. Willows finished the regular season in the top spot overall among female competitors and Nickle placed second overall among male athletes.

The CCFR is held at Silver Sage Community Corral from Friday, May 19 through Sunday, May 21. The finals will showcase 10 competitors in 10 events competing for the Canadian Collegiate Title.​

  • Performance #1 – Friday May 19, 2023 – 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • Performance #2 – Saturday May 20, 2023 – 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
  • CCFR Official After Party – Saturday May 20, 2023 – Following the Perf
  • Performance #3 – Sunday May 21, 2023 – 1:00 p.m. Doors open at 12 p.m.
