The Government of Alberta has announced that residents evacuated from their homes due to a wildfire can join a nightly discussion.
In a social media post on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the province stated that it will hold a nightly telephone town hall to provide updates on the wildfire situation and answer any questions.
The town halls will take place beginning May 9 and last through to Sunday, May 14. They will occur nightly at 7:30 p.m. and residents can join by phone at 1-833-380-0691.
Albertans can also listen and ask questions online through the ‘Wildfire emergency updates’ page at the Government of Alberta website.
