Open House held in Sylvan Lake on Wednesday for twinning Highway 11 project

Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors (ATEC) are hosting an open house in the Town of Sylvan Lake regarding the twinning of Highway 11 project.

Town officials are inviting those interested to the town hall on Wednesday, April 5 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the NexSource Centre (4823 49 Ave).

The town says the event will present the results of a study around options to define a preferred plan for twinning Hwy 11 from Hwy 22 to Twp Rd 390 (east of Benalto).

Town staff will also be on hand providing information on what is being proposed at the Memorial Trail/Twp Rd 384 and Hwy 20 intersection. The Town says they and ATEC are preparing plans to add a roundabout to the intersection.

Those not able to attend the open house will be able to access information online, following the event.
