Crane to cause road closure downtown as work continues on justice centre

Motorists are advised of a road closure on 48 Street west of 48 Avenue as crews set up a temporary crane for work on the Red Deer Justice Centre construction site.

Starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 48 Street will be closed between 48 Avenue and 49 Avenue. The area is expected to be open at 4:30 p.m. on the same day.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks. This work is weather dependent, and schedules may be subject to change. For more information about road closures, visit www.reddeer.ca/roadclosures.
