Blackfalds RCMP and partners charge male after drug investigation

One man is facing charges after local law enforcement seized drugs, cash, and drug paraphernalia at a residence in Red Deer this week.

On Dec. 14, 2022, after a short term drug investigation, Blackfalds General Investigations Section (GIS) and general duty, Sylvan Lake GIS, Innisfail GIS, Blackfalds general duty and Red Deer Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in Red Deer.

As a result of this search warrant, Mounties say the following was seized:

• 486 grams of suspected cocaine
• $495.00 Canadian currency
• Drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
