The Red Deer Rebels have added d-man Marek Schneider to the mix via trade Wednesday.
The swap with the Saskatoon Blades see the 19-year-old head to Red Deer in exchange for a fourth-rounder at the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft, along with a conditional fourth-rounder in 2026.
Schneider, a native of Prince Albert, SK, was selected by Saskatoon in round two, 30th overall at the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft. He has eight points in 78 career games with the Blades.
