Town of Penhold closing Penhold Regional Multiplex due to weather

Due to the extreme winter weather, making travel on area roads dangerous, Town of Penhold administration has announced the closure of the Penhold Regional Multiplex effective 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

Town officials say this facility closure is in effect for the entire Multiplex including the Town of Penhold Administration Office, Fitness Centre, Arena and Gymnasium, as well as the Penhold & District Library.

All user groups with bookings this evening have been notified of the facility closure. Fitness Centre users with 24 hour access fobs will still be able to access the facility if they choose to.

Town of Penhold Public Works crews will continue to maintain roadways as usual during this closure.

Town officials advise the intention is for regular operations to resume Thursday, November 3 once the extreme weather has passed and travel conditions to the facility have improved.
