RCMP looking into deadly crash near Lacombe

RCMP are investigating after a crash turned fatal this week near Lacombe.
It was 4:35 the afternoon of Sept. 27 (Tuesday) when Blackfalds RCMP and emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 12 west of Lacombe.
“A truck travelling west on Highway 12 collided with a motorcycle travelling east,” say RCMP.
“Unfortunately, the 68-year-old driver of the motorcycle, a resident of Red Deer, was declared deceased. The 30-year-old driver of the pick up truck, a Lacombe resident, a was not injured.”
