Red Deer building permit values way up in August

Building permit values in Red Deer for 2022 remain higher than during the first eight months of 2021.

So far this year, permits have totalled $129 million, compared to $83 million January through August of last year.

MORE: Building permits drastically down from June to June, but up this year

In August alone, there were 97 permits issued worth $23 million, compared to 78 worth $4.6 million in August 2021.
