Bashaw RCMP respond to plane crash

A central Alberta man is dead following a small plane crash near Bashaw, AB, Monday morning.

On Sept. 12 2022, at 09:50 a.m., Bashaw RCMP received a report of a plane crash at Highway 53 and Range Road 190.

Upon arrival, RCMP, Fire, and EMS located a crop dusting plane with one deceased occupant. The lone occupant has been identified as a 39-year-old male resident of Bawlf, AB.

RCMP have secured the scene and say Transport Canada will be conducting the investigation into the cause of the crash.
