City of Red Deer updates online payment services

The City of Red Deer says the appearance of their online payment pages will soon be affected.

Announced on Monday, they City states they will be conducting an update to new services provided by Moneris, their payment processing provider.

Residents who use the online payments page for MyCity/MyPayments are expected to notice a slight change beginning Tuesday evening. Not only will the page look different, officials say it will no longer redirect users to an outside site to enter their payment details.

The change is also scheduled to occur in late September for Look ‘n Book.

Officials confirm the City will continue to accept online payments for activity and program registrations through Look ‘n Book as well as online payments through MyCity/MyPayments. MyCity can be used for online services such as property taxes, utility bills, dog licences, business licences, permits and invoices.

Accepted forms of online payment includes Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and MasterCard Debit.
