RDPL downtown branch hosting Drag Queen Storytime

Red Deer Public Library (RDPL) is hosting its very first Drag Queen Storytime at its downtown branch on June 21, 2022.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m., with library officials excited to highlight diversity in the community, and the opportunity to promote love of self, and acceptance of all people at the unique Pride Month event

Residents are encouraged to join the Red Deer Queer Community Association and RDPL for the Pride Party Storytime.

Officials say there will be stories and crafts featuring special guest, and Red Deer’s own, Lilliana Starlight, with stories geared to ages 4-8-years-old.
