Red Deer Queer Community Association hosting 3rd annual Car Parade

The Red Deer Queer Community Association(RDQCA) is getting set to host its third annual Car Pride Parade.
The parade is scheduled for June 11, from 1-4 p.m., starting at the parking lot on the north side of Parkland Mall.
The parade will travel through downtown along Gaetz Ave, then back up toward Parkland Mall along Taylor Drive. Following the parade, an Afterparty Market will take place between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Gary W. Harris Celebration Plaza downtown.
“Everyone is welcome to join and encouraged to decorate their cars as loudly and in as many colours as possible,” RDQCA Vice-Chair Alex Pugatschew says. “We love seeing the turnout each year. Even if you can’t come in a car, hang out along the route and cheer us along, we love to see everyone’s support!”
