Red Deer RCMP seek assistance to identify suspects

Mar 7, 2022 | 4:55 PM

Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a break and enter on the city’s north end.

Shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2022, Red Deer RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at an apartment complex in the Pines neighbourhood.

Mounties say two suspects entered through a patio door and stole a number of items from the apartment. The male homeowner, who was home at the time, found the suspects in his living room and chased them out. The two suspects left the apartment and ran to an apartment building nearby.

Red Deer RCMP were unable to locate the two individuals at this second building, and are seeking assistance from the public to identify the men.

The first suspect is described as wearing a black ball cap, black jacket, black pants, and white and black running shoes.

The second suspect is described as roughly 6’0” tall, with dark hair and wearing a brown or black toque with a white handkerchief/face covering, blue jeans, and a dark jacket.

If you know the identity of either of these suspects, or have any information about this incident, please call Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), on line at www.p3tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play store.
