Police in Olds seeking alleged debit card thief

Olds RCMP have released photos of a suspect and suspect vehicle believed involved in use of a stolen debit card this week.

RCMP say it was about 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 when a vehicle parked in the 5100 block of 51 Street in Olds was allegedly broken into and a Scotiabank debit card was stolen.

This stolen debit card was then used to make multiple purchases at businesses in Olds totalling a value of approximately $215, police say.

The suspect is described as:

· Approximately 40 years of age

· Heavy set male

· Short hair

· Full brown beard

· White uniform shirt with a white name tag over his right pocket

· Black pants and black shoes.

· Suspect has an identifiable tattoo on his right hand

The suspect was seen driving a black Dodge Ram between the years of 2002 and 2008.
