Proceeds Towards Resident Beds

Chamber partners with Red Deer Hospice Society for second round of Red Deer branded clothing

The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Red Deer Hospice Society to support their bed fundraising campaign by donating a portion of proceeds from Red Deer branded clothing that has been restocked.

In December, the Chamber partnered with the Outreach Centre to donate a portion of proceeds from the Red Deer branded clothing that sold out after just one week.

In 2021, the Red Deer Hospice Society identified the need to replace their original ten resident beds after years of being well utilized. The Red Deer Hospice says that the resident bed is a key item in providing end of life care for residents.

“The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with the Red Deer Hospice Society for this campaign to help support this important and needed cause,” commented Chamber CEO, Scott Robinson. Three dollars from every hat and four dollars from every shirt sold will go to the Hospice Society.

“We are so fortunate to be able to partner with an incredible local organization to both celebrate our community and support Red Deer Hospice,” shared Jerri Taylor, Executive Director at the Red Deer Hospice Society. “Not only do supporters get to show their pride in our great community, they know that proceeds are helping us buy this much needed equipment!”

The clothing is available to purchase at www.reddeerchamber.com/store or at the Chamber office at 3017 Gaetz Avenue.
