Mounties locate vehicle involved in Red Deer homicide

Local Mounties have now located the vehicle involved in the death of a Red Deer woman last week.

Police say the 2018 Kia Rio has been found, with RCMP thanking the public and media for their assistance.

RCMP say the investigation continues and an update will be provided when there are more details that can be released.

Red Deer RCMP are continuing to ask for anyone who witnessed this event, or has dash cam video in the area of Kerry Wood Drive, to 59 Street, to Riverview Avenue, from Feb. 1, 2022, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
