Dec 18, 2021 | 10:17 AM

The Central Alberta Economic Partnership (CAEP) has elected its 2022 board of directors.

For the first time, CAEP’s chair will be a business representative, rather than an elected official. That person is James Carpenter, president of Energy Developers in Olds and business development specialist at First Nations Structures Ltd.

“I am honoured to hold this leadership position and see the role as building on my strengths as a connector,” he says. “With effective organizations such as CAEP leading regional collaboration, central Alberta communities will be instrumental in helping the province’s economy to rebound in the coming year.”
