NDP to ask questions of UCP about pandemic response in legislature Monday night

Alberta NDP Leader Rachel Notley and other members of the Official Opposition have announced that they will ask questions of the Premier and UCP Ministers about their failed COVID-19 pandemic response in the Legislature Monday evening.

Party officials say the debate that will occur was proposed by the government. The Official Opposition, however, says it does not believe it replaces the urgent need for the establishment of an all-party Special Select Committee to conduct a fully public, fully transparent review of what they describe as a failed pandemic response.

The debate will air on Rachel Notley’s Facebook page at 7:30 p.m.
