Looking for a career change or graduating from high school?

Red Deer polytechnic is hosting a virtual open house next month to showcase its programs.

The event takes places Nov. 2 from 5-8 p.m and will feature interactive sessions for a range of programs. There will also be a virtual visitor’s hall to learn about the services RDP offers.

“Whenever someone is considering their options for post-secondary education, it’s very important that they connect with the faculty and staff at the institution, people who can truly share what the program and the educational journey will involve,” says Kylie Thomas, Red Deer Polytechnic Vice President Academic and Provost.

“Through our Virtual Open House, participants will meaningfully engage with Red Deer Polytechnic program and service experts. These interactions will highlight the benefits of pursuing a post-secondary education and experience at Red Deer Polytechnic.”

Sessions will last 20-30 minutes, and will include time for Q&A at the end.

Registration is required for the virtual event, and complete details are available at rdc.ab.ca/openhouse. Attendees of the sessions will also have a chance to win one of four $500 tuition vouchers to Red Deer Polytechnic.

The polytechnic offers a breadth of over 100 programs, including apprenticeships, certificates, diplomas, collaborative degrees, micro-credentials, and its own degrees.

In addition to the Virtual Open House, people can also see what Red Deer Polytechnic has to offer through the virtual tour.
