Municipal Election Candidates Forum hosted by Red Deer Chamber goes tonight

Red Deerians are invited to attend a Municipal Election Candidates Forum being held virtually by the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce Monday evening.
The forum begins at 5:30 p.m. Click HERE to join online.
There are 62 candidates running in this year’s municipal election in Red Deer. They include six candidates for mayor, 30 candidates for eight seats on city council, 16 candidates for seven Red Deer Public School Board trustee positions, and 10 candidates for seven positions on the Board of Trustees for Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.
Officials with the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce confirm the following list of candidates anticipated to take part in Monday night’s forum. They note, however, the list is still subject to change.
