City hosting e-scooters launch event July 14

You’ve likely seen them (all) around the city, and now you can come get a lesson on how to ride one.

The City of Red Deer is hosting a public event July 14 to help residents learn about e-scooters.

Four companies have been awarded a permit to operate them in Red Deer, including LINK Scooters, Neuron Mobility, Bird Canada and Roll Scooters.

Next Wednesday, at Canada 150 Square in Capstone, watch demos and try different scooters, find out about apps yu need to download, and learn how to ride safely.
