Hot offers from local business this Valentine’s Day

Even though Canadians are expected to spend 20 per cent less ($74) on Valentine’s Day than they did in 2020, according to a comparison done by hellosafe.ca, several local businesses are stepping up with hot offers to help you keep the romantic spark alive this weekend.

Bo’s Bar and Stage has partnered with STEMS Flower & Café to make this year’s Valentine’s Day extra special. Red Deerians can order their own Valentines meals and enjoy it either at Bo’s (in accordance with public health guidelines) or the comfort of their homes Saturday or Sunday.

The Bo’s team says they’re working hard to make it a magical evening for those venturing out this year, and encourage you to book your evening now.

Want to try your own hand at creating a special Valentine’s meal? The Cooking Room is hosting a live Zoom cooking session Saturday evening. You can follow along and cook with their at-home dinner kit (pre- made appetizer are included and dessert) geared towards lovers, roommates, cohorts and bubble mates.
